#HomeCredit Philippines (HCPH), the leading consumer finance company in the country, is set to inspire wellness and community spirit with its first-ever fun run, Takbo #ParaSaLife. Scheduled for February 16 at Parqal in Aseana City, this event invites Filipinos to start the year strong by embracing a healthy and active lifestyle.
A Fun Run for Everyone
Organized in partnership with WeKenRun, a group founded by renowned marathon coach Ken Mendiola, Takbo #ParaSaLife offers something for everyone. Runners of all levels can join in race categories spanning 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K, making it accessible to beginners and seasoned runners alike.
This initiative highlights HCPH's dedication to holistic well-being by promoting physical, mental, and emotional health, beyond its role as a financial solutions provider. It creates a meaningful opportunity for communities to come together and prioritize a healthier lifestyle.
Empowering Lives Through Wellness
“At Home Credit, we aim to empower Filipinos to live their best lives—not just financially, but in all aspects of well-being,” shared Sheila Paul, Chief Marketing Officer of HCPH. “This run is more than just a fitness activity; it’s a step toward encouraging everyone to do more for themselves and for others.”
HCPH’s commitment to well-being extends across its services, as seen in previous initiatives that promote financial literacy and community upliftment.

Why Events Like Takbo #ParaSaLife Matter
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), physical inactivity has become a global concern, increasing the risk of chronic diseases. Alarmingly, the Philippines reports one of the highest rates of inactivity, with 39.7% of its population affected.
Through events like this, HCPH seeks to inspire communities to develop lasting healthy habits and work together to combat this issue. For more on global trends in health and wellness, check out related initiatives.
