PETER Kay fans voiced their concern over rude jokes on his tour months before he ejected hecklers and called one a Lisa Riley lookalike.
The Phoenix Nights legend, 51, faced criticism from some audience members who felt his comedy had changed, with one stating "the entire show was f*****g terrible."

A Reddit user shared their experience on Reddit four months ago.
In a lengthy post, one ticket holder said they were gutted that the jokes weren't "funny" and relied on nostalgia that not everyone understood, and claimed it fell short compared to his previous material.
They said: "Has anyone else seen Peter Kay live on his most recent tour?
"I saw him last night and was, sadly, really disappointed. I've really enjoyed his comedy and was so ready to enjoy last night but he just fell so flat…
They continued: "I know he relies on nostalgia but I would say the first and last parts of the show relating to TV theme tunes would go over the heads of anyone under 35 and tbh the start felt like filler, the end (trying not to spoil in case anyone is going) but it felt like I was having some kind of fever dream?!
"Also his comedy last night was much more rude (a lot of talk about his penis – not ideal when you're there with family).
"All in all I just didn't find it that funny, at best I sniggered a few times but nothing really made me laugh like his previous work has or even local comedy shows have."
The Reddit user expressed their surprise at his appearance, adding: "Sadly he just looked really unwell too which I don't think helped, bless him."
Another user replied to the post back in November, and said: "I saw him at the MEN in March, he was awful.
"I got the advert references at the beginning but didn't find it remotely funny. To be brutally honest, the entire show was f*****g terrible."
A third penned: "Agree with you completely. Not just you.
"Saw him in May. Also took my nephew. Awkward. And he wasn't old enough to get any references."
As the debate got going, loyal fans disagreed with the original post.
One said: "I saw him on the 2nd night of his most recent tour, I thought it was great. Maybe it was still very fresh for him, but I didnt have any complaints about it."
Another said: "I watched one of the earlier dates, assume the show is pretty much exactly the same, but I found it funny and it made me happy."
BAD JOKE
A heckler – who has since been named as Warehouse work Philip Peters – kept shouting out the comedian's signature catchphrase "garlic bread" at his Better Late Than Never… Again! show in Manchester.
The comedian asked him and also Scottish fan Myar Curran, 25, to be escorted out after she reportedly shouted "we love you Peter Kay".
Audience members claimed he said: "Had a drink have we?
"Go on, off you go Lisa Riley."
Peter was referring to the Emmerdale actress, who plays Mandy Dingle, and has spoken openly about her battle with booze – she also hasn't had a drink in nine years.
The Bolton-born comic broke his silence after a backlash as Peter was then criticised for "nasty and bitter" conduct.
He spoke out on the matter on Tuesdsay in a statement to ITV show Good Morning Britain.
He said: "I didn't realise it was an insult.
"She did look remarkably like Lisa Riley, I didn't realise that was an insult."
GMB host Ed Balls defended Peter, and told viewers: "He felt he had no option but to remove the hecklers as they were spoiling the show".
Ed continued to read his statement which said: "There comes a point when dealing with repeated hecklers simply isn't enough.
"It's not something you ever want to do but it becomes a point when it's no longer fair to everyone around."
