Wild Side singers Mötley Crüe made their shock announcement in a post uploaded to Instagram – revealing it was lead vocalist Vince Neil's health that took priority.

The rock band – who previously announced their retirement before making a U-Turn, addressed their loyal fans in two statements.

In a candid message 64-year-old Vince, who joined Mötley Crüe in 1981, wrote: "To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to see us this Spring,

"I'm truly sorry. My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can't wait to return to the stage.

"Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know."

A joint statement from the band then read: "Please join us in wishing Vince a speedy recovery.

"We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September."

The Live Wire singers were due to take to the stage at Park MGM in Las Vegas between March 28 and April 19.

Their shows will now kick off on September 12 instead, running through until September 27.

TOUGH TIMES

The residency blow comes just weeks after Vince's private plane crashed into another jet in Arizona.

His partner of 14 years Rain Hannah was injured in the horror that unfolded at an airport in Scottsdale.

She had shared pictures of her time on the jet shortly before the tragedy unfolded.

Sadly, veteran pilot Joie Vitosky, 78 was killed in the incident.

ILL HEALTH

It isn't the first time health issues have hampered the band, also made up of Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and John 5.

Mötley Crüe Vince Neil - health woes

Mötley Crüe's latest tour residency has been postponed - here we look at lead singer Vince Neil's health woes

  • Mötley Crüe have postponed their 2025 Las Vegas residency as frontman Vince Neil requires a "medical procedure"
  • It comes just weeks after Vince's private plane crashed into another jet in Arizona.
  • Back in 2021, Vince also fell off the stage and broke his ribs during another live show.
  • He also had an incident on stage during his first solo show post pandemic.
  • In 2013, he was hospitalized in Sydney, Australia, after a kidney stone attack.
  • Fans were also worried about his wellbeing back in 2018 after he ballooned in size.

Back in 2022, band member Tommy Lee was forced to abandon the reunion tour after he broke his ribs.

At the time, he said: "I wish I had a bada** story like me and Conor McGregor scraping-out at some f**king bar or something, but I don't," he told the crowd.

Tommy lasted only five songs into the setlist before he was in pain and had to leave for the night.

However, it transpired that was five more than he should have played.

"The doctors told me 'No playing' and I was like are you f**king joking, bro? We got a tour to do," Tommy told the crowd.

"But I ain't sitting out for s**t. My boy, Tommy Clufetos (Black Sabbath's drummer) is going to help me out here and I'll see you guys later.

"Let's get on with the godd**n show," the drummer said as he walked off stage.

After playing the show, Tommy went into more depth in a lengthy Instagram post.

He stated again that he broke four ribs and that the doctors told him not to play, but he was "stubborn" and "wouldn't listen."

Back in 2021, Vince also fell off the stage and broke his ribs during another live show.

He was whisked away in an ambulance after the painful incident at the Monster on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

He also had an incident on stage during his first solo show post pandemic.
