LADY Gaga is on the cusp of announcing a series of huge shows in London and Manchester later this year.

The shows, which include two gigs at the O2 Arena in the capital and another at Co-op Live in Manchester, are part of her Mayhem Ball Tour.

Gaga's first UK show is pencilled in for late September with extra dates running into October.

Ticketmaster will be handling seats for the concerts, which will go on sale in the coming days.

A source said: "Gaga had been booked to play concerts in London and Manchester.

"The current plan is to play two gigs at London's O2 Arena and then another up north.

"More dates are pencilled in if the first batch sell out which obviously they will."

The last time Gaga played London's O2 Arena was in October 2014 as part of her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball Tour.

She had been set to play the world famous venue as part of her 2018 Joanne World Tour but was forced to axe the gigs due to suffering from chronic pain caused by fibromyalgia

However, almost a decade later she is now finally pain free.

Gaga previously said: "The Chromatica Ball was the first time I've performed not in pain. I did it pain-free. I've changed."

The source added: "Gaga rediscovered her love of performing during the Chromatica Ball in 2022 and there are huge plans for the Mayhem Ball.

"She is so proud of the record and wants to celebrate it with this tour."

The Bad Romance singer will kick off her year of shows next month by headlining Coachella Festival in California and playing four stadium gigs at Singapore's National Stadium.

A further two dates in Mexico City have also been announced.

In May, she will follow in Madonna's footsteps and headline a giant free show in Rio de Janeiro.

Taking place on Copacabana Beach, the outdoor gig is tipped to pull in over one million fans.

Gaga is currently riding on another career high after her album Mayhem became her fifth UK chart topper and spawned three Top Ten hits in Disease, Die With a Smile and Abracadabra
