SMOKING cigarettes isn't something you'd necessarily associate with famous celebrities and television stars.
Most celebrities seem to have pristine images and lifestyles, with many promoting healthy lives and showing how healthy they are on social media.
But despite their prim and proper exterior, some of them are secret smokers.
From Jennifer Aniston to Dua Lipa, and several This Morning stars – the chances are, your favourite celebrity enjoys a crafty cigarette in their spare time.
Jennifer Aniston
Wellness guru Jennifer Aniston is one of the many celebrities in the public eye who puffs on cigarettes.
Known to follow the 80/20 approach, which means she aims to live healthily 80% of the time, Jennifer seemingly spends the 20% of her time doing unhealthier activities such as smoking.
In 2000 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Jennifer was seen with then-boyfriend Brad Pitt as she held a drink and a cigarette in one hand.
Looking ultra glamorous with her blonde locks down and straight, Jennifer beamed as she clutched her drink cigarette.
A year later in 2001, Jennifer was photographed again with a cigarette.
On the set of The Good Girl, Jennifer can be seen sitting in a director's chair while on the phone with a cigarette in her mouth.
And more recently in 2022, the actress was snapped lighting up a cigarette as she celebrated her birthday.
Her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, posted a video of Jennifer lighting a cigarette before it was deleted off of his Instagram story in a flash.
Rochelle Humes
The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes is also known to enjoy the occasional cigarette.
Back in 2021, Rochelle was snapped enjoying a cigarette with her This Morning team.
At the time, Rochelle was standing with Phillip Schofield and Dermot O'Leary.
Love Island smoking rules
Early seasons of the hit ITV2 dating show saw islanders smoking on the screen, but from the 2019 series onwards this stopped, and the contestants have been given a designated smoking area instead.
Islanders can smoke and vape but they'll do so away from the cameras and they aren't allowed to gather in large groups to discourage social smoking.
Laura Anderson, who appeared on the show in 2018, said the allowance at the time was: "5 for social smokers, 10 if daily smoker. It might have changed. When you finish that's it."
While Sharon Gaffka, from 2021, revealed: "If you wanted a cigarette you would have to say into your microphone 'I really want to go for a cigarette'.
"They'd say, 'OK, we'll get someone from production to supervise you and it'll take place outside the front door somewhere'."
The This Morning star previously spoke about how she loves "a night out and a tequila".
Speaking to The Guardian in 2023, the glamorous TV star said that some parts of being in the public eye are glamorous, "but my life is mostly mundane".
She said: "School run, office, supermarket.
"I love a night out and a tequila, but it's with my friends on my own terms.
"I'm not really part of that crazy world."
Chrissy Teigan
Chrissy Teigan revealed her secret cigarette addiction at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night.
The 39-year-old revealed she finally decided to quit "for the last time" recently.
She told Access Hollywood: "I'm just furiously chewing Nicotine gum tonight.
"Don't smoke! Smoking's bad, stop now if you can.
"I've been an on-and-off smoker for too long. I have stopped for the last time, and I'm very proud of myself—but I'm also extremely on edge!"
Chrissy and her husband John Legend have four children: Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren.
Dua Lipa
Hitmaker Dua Lipa was spotted smoking with fiance Callum Turner last month in Paris.
Packing on public displays of affection while having a smoke, the snaps of Dua smoking came after she proudly declared she gave up last year.
Sitting in the city of love, Dua, 29, and Callum, 34, were seen looking totally smitten as they puffed on cigarettes.
But Dua's smoking snaps came after she told of how he gave up smoking for her Future Nostalgia tour in 2022.
Speaking on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the singer revealed wanted her vocal health to be top notch so decided to give up smoking.
"I was smoking cigarettes at the time… But I've stopped. I've quit, guys," she said to the host.
Johannes Radebe
Back in 2022, Bake Off star John Whaite was seen with Johannes Radebe as they reunited for the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
The lads puffed on cigarettes together as they caught up.
Then, in 2023, Johannes was caught lighting up again when he was seen ahead of the Strictly semi-final with Annabel Croft.
Speaking on Jessie and Lennie Ware's Table Manners podcast, singer Jessie Ware revealed she was shocked to learn that Johannes smoked.
"The thing that blew my mind was when you came in for a cuddle, and I was like, 'Sorry, you smoke!'"
She added: "I didn't think dancers smoked, and you had a power fag before we did the bloody run-through! And you're still the fastest—it blew my mind."
Abbey Clancy
Abbey Clancy has been seen smoking in public on a number of occasions.
In July 2010, Abbey was seen rocking a teeny string bikini as she puffed on a cigarette in Sardinia, Italy.
Two years later in 2012, Abbey was seen again puffing on a cigarette, but this time in the UK.
Seen with hairstylist James Brown, Abbey could be seen in London as she spoke to her pal with a cigarette in hand.
In February 2023, Abbey was spotted smoking a cigarette in between takes as she filmed the new Paddy Power advert in Cheltenham.
She was joined by soap star Shawn Williamson and her former England ace husband Peter Crouch.
