Michelle Keegan's parents are Jacqueline and Michael Keegan.
Jacqueline has a Spanish heritage as her mother was from Gibraltar and married a British soldier.
Michelle is rarely seen with her mum after negative comments online have impacted Jackie.
The actress went on to explain that due to the comments her mum refuses to step out together with Michelle.
She explained in an interview: "I remember once I stepped out of a restaurant with my mum and we got pictured and I remember my mum reading the article and she read the comments.
"That really affected my mum, really bad. Now, she won't walk out of restaurants with me, because of that reason."
Mike owns a gin bar called The Bee's Knees in Tenerife, and often plugs it by telling customers they can FaceTime his famous daughter.
During the soap star's appearance at Jonathan Ross show, Michelle said: "I must have FaceTimes off him five times a day with random customers. He's really proud. I don't know how he drops it in.
"Come in to my bar and get a FaceTime with Michelle!"
Does Michelle Keegan have any siblings?
Michelle has a younger brother Andrew Keegan who was born in 1989.
Andrew lives a life away from a spotlight and appears to be a deputy headteacher at Altrincham College.

In June 2016, she began filming the ITV drama series Tina and Bobby, based on Tina Dean's and Bobby Moore's relationship.
In 2024, Michelle played the main character in Netflix's mini-series Fool Me Once.
The actress currently portrays the main role of Erin Croft in Sky One's comedy-drama series, Brassic, which started in 2019.
